How are product categories registered in the system? Can both admin and vendor add product categories?

Yo!Kart Marketplace Solution

New product categories can only be added by website admin. Yo!Kart system does not allow sellers/vendors to add new product categories, however they can send request for new product category to admin via email.

To add new product category:

  • Log in to Admin Area
  • Click on Catalog in left menu
  • Select Product Categories
  • Click on … icon present on top right corner
  • Select “New”

  • Fill the required details in Product Category Setup window and save changes
